Glazed Over…
April 9th, 2009
Here’s a picture of K.T., number one studio student assistant, mixing up some new glazes. It’s exacting work…lots of math and precise measurement. She’s got it all under control.

Starting May 13th, I’ll be giving both beginning and intermediate pottery classes at the Dinwiddie Recreation Center. The schedule is as follows:
Session 1: Wednesdays, May 13th – July 1st • $45.00 – Supplies Included!
Beginner – 6:00pm-6:55pm • Intermediate – 7:00pm-7:55pm
For more info, contact the Dinwiddie Recreation Center or download a flyer.
Here are some pictures from a recent class at Carver Elementary in Henrico Virginia. These kids did a great job creating moons and masks with clay.
This is no little kitty. She’s stretched out on the front porch catching as much sun as her body can take. She’s still a bit wet in these images but right now, she’s being fired (so she’s definitely warm!) and will be out of the studio and hopefully in the gallery for a while at the PRAC in Old Towne Petersburg.
